Why do men never shut up when women watch tv?

if football is on a woman would be dicing with death if she spoke- not even the offer of sex can save her unless it's half time-WHY?

cuz men want women to pay more attention to them

Now thats a true fan, sex will lure most men away from tv, unless they are watchn porn, then thats another story..cause after all its just a game

It must be a male thing, we have several tv's in our house and if it is not the hub, then my son, and it doesn't make a difference what room I go into or rather try to escape to they just follow.

Also if it is not you they want to talk to then they just talk over the programme you want to watch.

men are a strange mixture of little boy and "THE MAN". your attention is on something other than him .Not allowed!If you'll notice it isn't just tv but anything you might be interested in that doesn't involve him. my 2 cents

I think we have the same man.. we can be in the house together all day and he will sleep or go out and work.. and never say a word to me until the program i like comes on and then he sits there and yacks about nothing..

And mumbles so i have to turn the tv down and ask what he said..

I have learned that i just don't answer him when he talks. he knows i want to watch that show.. and he didn't have anything to say before so he don't need to talk then either.

I get on the computer when he is watching his shows.. and he still bugs me.. who are you talking to what are you doing..?

THE T. V. BECOMES THE CENTER OF YOUR ATTENTION,AND NOT HIM.BY THE WAY THIS GOES BOTH WAYS.

Some men (not all!) are just like kids who want all your attention and can't accept that you might want to watch TV. Let's face it, they're jealous!

I think you'll find it's mostly the other way round.

I'm not aware of this phenomenon.

However if it should occur, I can only assume the reason would be revenge.

Because in their opinion, women's programs aren't important enough to warrant absoloute silence. They believe that what they have to say is more important, and more interesting than whatever we are watching on the tv.

When you find out, let me know. Often I've wondered the same thing.

i think i might put the v-chip on the tv, and cut out his shows, b/c he wont know the CODE!!!!! LOL

You must be joking, in my experience it is the woman who cannot shut up when the man is watching TV. I can guarantee that sex would win out over TV any time for me!!

We all want attention. We girls just have to learn not to be able to hear the guys voices, just like they never hear us (selectively).

for the same reason women dont shut up while men are trying to watch tv.

They have to be the center of attention - the world revolves around them you know.

Men are self absorbed, selfish and inconsiderate....unless there is sex involved.

Next time he is watching football....get dressed up and go out to have a drink with the girls.....watch how quick he pays attention.

When your watching TV....ignore him and move to another room.

my husband goes on the computer when I watch tv. He's good like that!
