What kind of Pornography do Women watch?

I am curious as to what kind of pornography women watch (if any) and what is in them.

Quite frankly, much like with men, the type of pornography that women watch is incredibly varied. Some women like softcore, some women like hardcore. The idea that there is only one type of porn that women like is slowly being eroded as we realize that what women watch pretty much spans the gamut.

Common types seem to include:

* Lesbian porn. Many straight women enjoy lesbian porn instead of straight male-targeted porn. The sex is softer and more erotic, focusing on foreplay and cunnilingus and the woman's pleasure. It's more egalitarian, refreshingly free of misogyny or male-female power differentials, and also is a little taboo.

* Gay male porn. Perhaps somewhat counterintuitively, many women, straight, bisexual, and even lesbian (!), enjoy watching gay male porn. It's appealing for many of the same reasons that lesbian porn is appealing- no misogyny, more passionate, taboo sex. In addition, the guys in gay porn are gorgeous, compared to the not-so-yummy men in straight porn, and it's double the eye candy for the straight and bi women who watch it (not to mention that most straight porn focuses on the girl, leaving women high and dry if they want to see more of a guy than his penis). As for lesbians watching it, well, a lot of them cite that lesbian porn made for men sucks, and that they get more turned on seeing straight or gay porn than lesbian porn with two fakey Barbies going at it ineptly.

* Porn with a plot. A lot of women prefer having a least a little story to their sex, instead of straight into the gonzo stuff.

* Porn made for women. Many women seek out these titles- Candida Royalle, Tristan Taormino, Pink & White Productions, InPulse Pictures, etc., etc..

* Softcore productions. Many women I talk to dislike the way mainstream porn has ten minute-long close-ups on the genitals just pounding into each other. It's not erotic for them. They might like seeing a glimpse of the genitals, but they're more interested in the overall sex, and that's where softcore, Cinemax-at-night, Playgirl movies, Red Shoe Diaries kind of stuff works well.

* Male solo scenes. A lot of women enjoy seeing boys stroking it.

And so on and so on. Me, personally, well, I like mostly anything and just have to be in the right mood to enjoy it. The only things that really turn me off are fake orgasms, girls who moan so much that they're annoying in a scene, fake boobs, gaping, most c*m play, and stuff like scat and whatnot.

Depends on their sexual orientation. Whatever their attracted to.
