Would you watch women's baseball if they had a professional league?

I'm a girl and I play baseball with the guys for rec league. I think it's unfair that they don't have a womens baseball league. But they have a WNBA,women can play golf,tennis,indy race,soccer. They have men playing softball out there and to me that is messed up because usually you just see women play softball. So leading back to my question, would you watch women's baseball if they had a professional league?

I'm a big fan of baseball, and would probably watch it out of curiosity, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't watch it for long. Unfortunately, women's sports are just not consistently as good as men's sports. I'm all for equal rights, and I certainly do appreciate that there are some incredible women athletes out there - but the level of play is just not as good. That is why the WNBA doesn't draw the same crowds as the NBA, that's why the women's pro soccer league folded, and that's why the women's professional softball league plays in front of a few thousand people instead of 40,000. It's not that I don't feel that women shouldn't have the right to their league, but right now, women's sports just are not profitable, and probably will never be as successful as men's sports in that regard.

Professional Baseball is a business of entertainment. People come up and watch the men's baseball for the entertainment factor. The women just don't generate enough interest to pay money and watch.

Take the WUSA (Women's United Soccer Association). They were around for 3 years and because they were losing more money then generating, they folded, and poor timing too, for the 2003 Women's World Cup.

Now they are making a come back but time will tell if people come to watch.

I watch it,like all the time,its a great show to watch to help you understand what the women & doctors go through! It always make me cry also,because its so special to see those baby's being delivered! I just can't wait for my lil man!

I have watched one episode of Deliver Me and a couple other odds and ends shows about childbirth and delivery. Sometimes they're great, but sometimes I have to try to pull myself away from the TV when the babies are sick, because then I start worrying about my own baby...but I am never successful in tearing myself away from the show! My poor husband, though...he doesn't like medical shows a whole lot and I make him watch these shows all the time!

The most interesting thing, I think, is that you watch these women in obvious pain and agony during labor and childbirth, and I'm STILL NOT SCARED of it when the time comes for my baby to be born. I worry a little about baby being sick, but am just totally excited to give birth. Go figure! I think hubby is more nervous to see me in pain than I am to BE in pain!

I've watched these shows even before I got pregnant, I love them.

My husband always says to me now - how do you watch theses don't they scare you? lol (mainly due to all the hootin' and hollerin') But I actually feel better even learning some of the things that could go wrong, etc. If it happened to me, I feel I would have a better understanding having heard abou tit prior to the condition.

i used to watch the special deliveries... and bringing home baby when i was at home before i had my son.. and continued to watch it after he was born... (kinda makes me want another baby now! but im going to wait atleast til my son is a year or so). but its an amazing show.

im not pregnant i havent been for almost 2 years in june but when i was pregnant i would watch them every single day i think it is neet how it works and it made me cry time or two and being pregnant is very exciting i cant have no more

I am curious as to what kind of pornography women watch (if any) and what is in them.

Quite frankly, much like with men, the type of pornography that women watch is incredibly varied. Some women like softcore, some women like hardcore. The idea that there is only one type of porn that women like is slowly being eroded as we realize that what women watch pretty much spans the gamut.

Common types seem to include:

* Lesbian porn. Many straight women enjoy lesbian porn instead of straight male-targeted porn. The sex is softer and more erotic, focusing on foreplay and cunnilingus and the woman's pleasure. It's more egalitarian, refreshingly free of misogyny or male-female power differentials, and also is a little taboo.
